e-Box publication - Routing rules suggestions
As a sender, you cannot decide on which partition of the recipient eBox the message should land. However, as you are the best placed to know your messages business context, it is possible for you to propose logical routing rules that we call a Routing rule suggestion.
For this, the Document Sender, authenticated with NSSO authorization server, can interact with the Partition management web service. This is done to ease recipients to group messages and manage their access rights. There are three criteria allowed for a Routing rule. Each criterion is a mandatory property of a message :
- messageTypeId: The message type identifier of the message.
- senderApplicationId: The identifier of the application used to send the message.
- senderOrganizationId: The enterprise number of the organization sending the message.
The suggestions will be proposed to the recipients of the message through the eBox enterprise user interface. If the routing rule suggestion is accepted by the recipient of your messages, the Document Provider you are connected with will route your incoming messages to the target partition defined by the recipient in the routing rule. You can delete your routing rule suggestion at any time. It won't affect existing routing rules, but the suggestion will no more be proposed to the recipients.
